Program Overview
Our anger management class is a structured 12-week program that combines psychoeducation with practical skill-building. Each session provides tools you can apply immediately to manage anger in your relationships, at work, and in daily life.
This program is court-approved for mandated participants in Dallas, TX and across the DFW area — and is also open to anyone who wants to develop better anger management skills. Led by Bold Steps Therapy, the class creates a supportive group environment where participants learn from both the facilitator and each other.
What You Will Learn
Recognize Warning Signs
Spot the physical and emotional cues of escalation before anger takes over — in your body, your thoughts, and your triggers.
Restructure Your Thinking
Use CBT techniques to challenge and replace the distorted thought patterns that fuel reactive anger and escalation.
Communicate Without Aggression
Practice assertiveness skills to express your needs clearly and directly — without aggression or shutting down.
Build Life-Long Skills
Graduates report fewer conflicts, stronger relationships, and better emotional regulation — skills that stay with you well beyond the program.
Court-Approved Completion Requirements
- ✓A certificate of completion is provided after attending all 12 sessions.
- ✓Clients have 15 weeks to complete all 12 sessions.
- ✓Bold Steps Therapy works directly with your attorney or probation officer if documentation is needed at any point.
Court Mandated Clients are required to complete a mandatory intake. Intakes cost an additional $20.

Yes. Bold Steps Therapy's anger management program is court-approved in Texas. Upon completing all 12 sessions, you receive a certificate of completion that can be submitted to your attorney, probation officer, or the court directly.
How much does anger management class cost in Dallas?
Classes are $30 per session or $300 for the full 12-session program. Court-mandated participants also pay a $20 intake evaluation fee before starting classes. The full package — intake plus all 12 sessions — is $300 total.
Can I join mid-program, or do I need to start at Week 1?
Yes — this is an open group, which means you can join any session at any time. You do not need to wait for a new cycle to begin. Simply register, complete your intake (if court-mandated), and attend your first class.
Is the class held online or in person?
Classes are held virtually via Google Meet. After registering and completing payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your Google Meet link. This makes it easy to participate from anywhere in Texas or Colorado.
What happens if I miss a session?
Clients have 15 weeks to complete all 12 sessions. Bold Steps Therapy will work with your attorney or probation officer to document your attendance accurately throughout the program.
