Anger Management

Take Control of Your Anger

Anger isn't the problem. It's what we do with it that matters. Our 12-week program helps you learn skills without shame or judgment.

Program Overview

Open Group — join any session, any time. No need to start at week one.

Our anger management class is a structured 12-week program that combines psychoeducation with practical skill-building. Each session provides tools you can apply immediately to manage anger in your relationships, at work, and in daily life.

This program is court-approved for mandated participants and is also open to anyone who wants to develop better anger management skills. Led by Bold Steps Therapy, the class creates a supportive group environment where participants learn from both the facilitator and each other.

What You Will Learn

Recognize Warning Signs

Spot the physical and emotional cues of escalation before anger takes over — in your body, your thoughts, and your triggers.

Restructure Your Thinking

Use CBT techniques to challenge and replace the distorted thought patterns that fuel reactive anger and escalation.

Communicate Without Aggression

Practice assertiveness skills to express your needs clearly and directly — without aggression or shutting down.

Build Life-Long Skills

Graduates report fewer conflicts, stronger relationships, and better emotional regulation — skills that stay with you well beyond the program.

Court-Approved Completion Requirements

  • A certificate of completion is provided after attending all 12 sessions.
  • Missed sessions can be made up during the next available class cycle.
  • Bold Steps Therapy works directly with your attorney or probation officer if documentation is needed at any point.
